“Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa is just like a bluish lotus flower for the ears; He is ointment for the eyes, a necklace of indranīla gems for the chest, and universal ornaments for the gopī damsels of Vṛndāvana. Let that Lord Śrī Hari, Kṛṣṇa, be glorified.”

(Śrīla Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswāmī Mahārāj,
Śrī Chaitanya-bhāgavat Introduction, SCSM Bengali edition)

“I offer my obeisance unto Śrīla Vṛndāvan Dās Ṭhākur and Śrīla Kṛṣṇa Dās Kavirāj Goswāmī Prabhu. They are the expounders of the Pastimes of the hidden Avatār, Śrī Chaitanya, and they are adorned with ‘mercy-pollen’ from Nityānanda Prabhu’s lotus feet. I offer my obeisance unto these two forms of Vyāsadev, one of whom is manifest and one of whom is hidden; one of whom is intelligible and one of whom is inconceivable.”

*Śrīla Gurudev’s other sloka from this introduction:

sahaje vicitra madhura caitanya-vihāra
vṛndāvana-dāsa-mukhe amṛtera dhāra

(Śrī Chaitanya-charitāmṛta: Madhya-līlā, 4.5)

By nature all the activities of Śrī Chaitanya Mahāprabhu are very wonderful and sweet, and when they are described by Vṛndāvana Dāsa Ṭhākura, they become like a shower of nectar.

nityānanda-kṛpā-pātra—vṛndāvana-dāsa
caitanya-līlāya teṅho hayena ‘ādi-vyāsa’

(Śrī Chaitanya-charitāmṛta: Antya-līlā, 20.82)

Vṛndāvana Dāsa Ṭhākura is Lord Nityānanda’s favorite devotee, and therefore he is the original Vyāsadeva in describing the pastimes of Śrī Chaitanya Mahāprabhu.

(Śrīmad Bhāgavatam: 7.9.38)

“O Supreme Lord! You protect the dharma in accordance with each age. Because You are hidden in the Age of Kali, You are known as Triyuga, He who appears in three ages.”

...channa avatāra lukāna kāhāra

(Śrī Śrī Gaurasundarer Avirbhāva Vasare)
The Holy Appearance Day of Śrī Gaurasundar
by Śrīla Bhakti Rakṣak Śrīdhar Dev-Goswāmī Mahārāj

Everyone who engages in this Nāma-saṅkīrtan of Mahāprabhu, comes to enquire sincerely and to know the innermost secret of the Lord’s bluish colour absorbed by his golden features. This is the hidden incarnation of the Lord and the concealed feature of His form is that he is tasting the threefold relish of Śrī Rādhā.

āre āre kṛṣṇadāsa, nā karaha bhaya
vṛndāvane yāha,—tāṅhā sarva labhya haya

(Śrī Chaitanya-charitāmṛta: Ādi-līlā, 5.195)

“O my dear Kṛṣṇadāsa, do not be afraid. Go to Vṛndāvana, for there you will attain all things.”

nāma-śreṣṭhaṁ manum api śachī-putram atra svarūpaṁ
rūpaṁ tasyāgrajam uru-purīṁ māthurīṁ goṣṭha-vāṭīm

prāpto yasya prathita-kṛpayā śrī-guruṁ taṁ nato ’smi

rī Mukta-charitam: 2, Srila Raghunāth Dās Goswāmī)

“I bow down to the lotus feet of Śrī Guru, by whose causeless mercy I have attained the highest conception of the Holy Name and the divine mantra. I have come to the service of the great saviour, Śrī Śachī Nandan, who is like a golden mountain standing to show the direction of Kṛṣṇa-līlā, and the association of His most intimate servitor Śrīla Svarūp Dāmodar. I gained the association of Śrīla Rūpa Goswāmī, who was personally ordered by Mahāprabhu Himself to distribute the rasa of spontaneous devotion, and Sanātan Goswāmī, who revealed to the world perfect sambandha-jñān, proper acquaintance with the environment. I have been given the divine abode of Mathurā Vṛndāvan with Rādhā Kuṇḍa and Govardhan Hill. And finally, I have been given the hope and aspiration that one day I may be welcomed into the service plane where Śrī Śrī Rādhikā-Mādhava are in Their glory, sitting and playing.”

“If in spite of hearing the glories of Nityānanda, one blasphemes Him, then I kick the head of such a sinful person.”

“Bhakti Vinod Ṭhākur has taught that Śrī Chaitanya-bhāgavat is a śuddha-bhakti grantha [a treatise on pure devotion]. It is like the Ganges flowing from above to below, and nothing—no [kubuddhi] misconception or unfortunate influence—can stand in its way. By regularly reading Śrī Chaitanya-bhāgavat one will attain the joy of Kṛṣṇa-prema.”

“‘The greatness of mother Ganges always brilliantly exists. She is the most fortunate because she emanated from the lotus feet of Śrī Viṣṇu, the Personality of Godhead. She is a second goddess of fortune, and therefore she is always worshiped both by demigods and by humanity. Endowed with all wonderful qualities, she flourishes on the head of Lord Śiva.’”

“I respectfully bow to the lotus feet of all the Vaiṣṇavas, praying that there is no offence in my attempt to please them. To all Vaiṣṇavas who have been, and all Vaiṣṇavas who shall be, I offer my obeisances to their lotus feet.”
