“To Be Compassionate”. Srila B. S. Goswami Maharaj. 20 November, 2017. Gupta Govardhan
Q: Compassion is epitomized by Vasudeva Datta who is praying to suffer perpetually to liberate others. How is compassion exercised in the liberated roam, where there is, seemingly, no one who needs to be saved?
A: Goloka Vrindavana is the original source of everything. — Process of the universal creation. — The non-liberated and the liberated are mixed in Mahaprabhu’s pastimes. — Aprakrita-lila — looks like mundane, but not. — Treasure of meeting the genuine devotee of Krishna. — In the spiritual world, separation of particular intensity draws compassion of Krishna. — Separation is realistic for us. And here is overlapping with the higher section of the liberated souls. — The most compassionate avatar, Mahaprabhu: the very highest for the least deserving. — How rasa-lila happens. — Krishna steals the heart of Srimati Radharani. — Saints’ anxiety for the suffering of fallen souls is transferred to other devotees who then try to be compassionate for these souls. — Krishna consciousness takes away the suffering in both, material and spiritual worlds.
