Then Sripad Madhav Maharaj reminded the assembled devotees about the importance of the ekadasis, and in particular the importance and the power of nirjal-ekadasi. Then Maharaj read the following verse from Bhagavad Gita, the Glory of Srimad Bhagavad Gita:

yo 'dhite visnuparvahe, gitam sri harivasare
svapan jagrat calan tisthan, satrubhir na sa hiyate

"A person who studies the Gita at the time of holy festival days, especially the fasting day known as Ekadasi - such a person, whether awake or asleep, moving or still, is never defeated by enemies."

Therefore, Maharaj read out a chapter from Srimad Bhagavad Gita.

Having finished reading, Sripad Madhav Maharaj shared with the devotees his astonishment at the inexhaustible depth of Gita. And Aruna Krishna Prabhu (in white) remembered Sripad Goswami Maharaj illustrated the limited nature of human by an episode from the life of an Austrian famous logician, philosopher, and outstanding linguist with quite an encyclopaedic knowledge, Ludwig Wittgenstein. Once, having breathed in the aroma of a freshly made coffee, he noticed with bewilderment, "with all the knowledge I have, I am still unable to describe even the aroma of coffee...""
